My June Reads

I feel like I didn’t get as much read as I wanted this month. But that’s okay, this is a busy season at my house. We had basketball tournaments almost every weekend, Wee One’s birthday, my anniversary, Father’s Day, and the list goes on. I did, however, manage to read a few books that I absolutely loved!

One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston – I really enjoyed this book. I mean not only does it feature a badass rebel from the 70’s, but it’s also kind of a time travel story, but not really. Jane is stuck in time that isn’t her own and August decides she wants to help her. It was a cute and sweet read.

To Love and to Loathe by Martha Waters – This is the sequel to To Have and to Hoax. I’m gonna say it… I loved this one more than the first book. Diana and Jeremy are hilarious. I don’t think I’ve ever seen two people fight their attraction to each other more than them. We also get some nuggets about the last friend in the group, and I can’t wait for that book.

A Lady’s Guide to Mischief and Mayhem by Manda Collins – I really enjoyed this book as well. It has all the parts of a cozy mystery with the a great enemies to lovers romance.

Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers – I adored this book. It’s truly a coming of age novel for those in their late twenties. I love how mental wellness was addressed and I’m so happy Grace found herself despite the pressures she feels from her family.

The A.I. Who Loved Me by Alyssa Cole – I’ve never read anything by Alyssa Cole. I have another book on my TBR but that I’ll be reading soon. But this one hooked me. There was so much story packed into this novella. I can’t wait to read more books by Cole.

What books did you read in June? I’m always looking to expand my never-ending TBR pile.
