It’s been another heavy reading month. The family was in quarantine because Wee One and Hubs got Covid so I had a lot of reading time. I thought I was going to be able to write during quarantine, but the amount of mental space it takes caring for sick members and cleaning all the things was a lot.
I ended up reading 10 books over the month, but I want to share with you my top 5 reads.
If y’all haven’t read the Brown Sisters Trilogy yet, I don’t know what you’re doing with your life. I absolutely adore these women. I’m sad the stories are over, but I’m going to start binging the rest of Talia Hibbert’s books.
I loved this book so much. It’s sweet and goes through so much. From loss to friendship. All of it! And…I loved that space was a huge aspect of the story line. I can’t wait for Wee One to read this one.
I’m still doing well with reading at least one historical romance a month. Even though this was the fourth book in the series, I didn’t have any problems following along. I loved Sheridan and Vanessa. I will say I figured out the mystery pretty early, but I don’t know if that’s because I read the other books in the series.
This was such a fun book. It’s not heavy on the romance, but the adventure is there. And that’s what made me pick it up.
This book has been sitting on my TBR shelf for a bit. I’m kicking myself for not reading it sooner. It’s second chance romance and brothers best friend. That alone should have had me picking up faster. I’m so glad I finally read it, though. I’ll be grabbing the rest of the series ASAP.
