Books I read in September

September was an awesome reading month for me. There are a lot of cozy paranormal books because I’m doing some research for the Kat Solis pen name. I’ve found some fun gems in that category and I can’t wait to release those stories.

Young Adult Fantasy

The Nightmare-Verse by L.L. McKinney is an Alice in Wonderland retelling. I absolutely loved it! It’s dark, twisty, and the characters are amazing. I highly recommend reading this trilogy.

Cozy Paranormal

The book my Angie Fox, I ended up reading the 11th book without knowing. So I’ll be going back to first book to get some of the backstory. It wasn’t confusing or anything, since I think it’s a series you can start reading anywhere, but I want more of the story.

Danielle Garrett is quickly becoming a fave. Her books are sweet and fun. The family and friendship dynamics are awesome. I love that they all stick together when needed, and I can’t wait to read more books by her.

This book has an tight-knit group of friends and super hot neighbor. It was fun and cozy for the most part, but if you have a hard time with death of a spouse, I would suggest reading reviews to see what they are saying. I’m looking forward to seeing where this book series goes from here.

Author Related Books

Newsletter Ninja is an author business book. It’s like the third time I’ve read it, but sometimes I need a reminder on things. It’s always good to look back and see where there can be improvements.
